About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at Syracuse University. My research focuses on the nature of international institutions, particularly the relationship between bilateral and multilateral institutions. I examine how bilateral institutions, like diplomatic ties or bilateral agreements, both affect and are affected by multilateral institutions like international organizations.

Research Interests

• International relations theory: socialization, the role of institutions, relationalism
• Computational social science: Causal inference, inferential and multilayer network models, agent-based modeling and machine learning
• Reproducibility: Best practices in reproducible social science, open science and development of open-source software
